Chocolate Buttercream Icing


1 cup White Vegetable Shortening
1 tbsp. Clear Extract for flavor (butter, almond, vanilla, etc.)
4 tbsp. Water
1 lb. Pure Can Confectioners Sugar (approx 4 cups)
3/4 Cup Cocoa Powder
1 tbsp. Meringue Powder


Cream together shortening, flavoring, and water. Add dry ingredients and mix on med speed until all ingredients have been mixed. Blend additional minute.

* To thin add water until you get desired thickness.
