Sugar Cookies

This is my Mom's recipe she got from Carma Hiatt years ago. I just love sugar cookies i don't think there is a season that goes by where i don't make them.

Ingredients:

1 cup shortening

2 cup sugar

2 eggs

1 cup sour cream

1 tsp. vanilla

1 tsp. baking soda

4 tsp. baking powder
1 1/2 tsp. salt

4 1.2 cups flour

Directions:

Mix all the wet ingredients and then slowly mix in all the dry ingredients while mixing. Bake at 350 degrees. 8-10 minutes let cool before frosting.

Frosting:

1 cube butter

5-6 cups powdered sugar

4 tbsp. milk

Mix until creamy.
