Peach Jello Pie


This recipe is from my Aunt that my Mom has used for years.
Crust:
2 cups graham cracker crumbs
1/2 cup brown sugar
3/4 cup melted marg.

Mix together and press into pie dish. Chill in the freezer so it's easier to work with later.

Middle Layer Filling:
1 8oz. cream cheese, softened
1/2 cup pd. sugar

Cream together. Spread on top of pie crust. Let Cool. *If your crust is sticking to the cream cheese mixture the crust is not cool enough.

Dice 4 cups of Peaches and set aside

Bring to boil:
1 3/4 cup water
1 cup sugar
2 tbsp. corn starch
1 3oz. Orange Jello Packet

Stir until packet is dissolved. Let it cool in the fridge for a few minutes to thicken since it is hot. Pour over cream cheese mixture and place diced peaches in jello and chill for 1 hr. Spread cool whip on top.
